Hilary Duff

Hilary Duff is an actress and singer who achieved prominent teen idol status starring as the endearing lead character on the Disney Channel series Lizzie McGuire from 2001 until 2004. To move past her early television image and demonstrate her growth into young adulthood, Duff deliberately transitioned into pop music shortly after her television run.

Over the course of her career in Hollywood, Duff has maintained close relationships with fellow performers who shared similar experiences coming of age in the public spotlight. Her connections include long-time friendships with actress Mandy Moore as well as fellow former child star Hayden Panettiere, with whom she bonded during the peak of their early 2000s careers.

Duff is married to record producer Matthew Koma, with whom she shares her young daughter Mae. Duff recently mounted a major pop music comeback, releasing her first fresh studio album in over ten years and launching a major worldwide concert tour.
