Grand Ole Opry

The Grand Ole Opry is a historic country music venue, institution, and broadcast showcase located in Nashville, Tennessee. Renowned for its iconic stage and sacred circle, the institution traditionally features a multi-artist variety format that highlights both established legends and modern country music performers.

The venue occasionally alters its regular programming schedule to host specialized tribute events. In August 2026, the Opry handed over an entire weekend broadcast and dedicated a full Saturday night showcase exclusively to celebrating the music, life, and legacy of longtime Opry family member Dolly Parton, bringing contemporary stars together to perform her catalog.

Beyond scheduled musical broadcasts, the Opry stage serves as a setting for emotional personal tributes, including actor and musician Charles Esten honoring his late television costar Hayden Panettiere during an August 2026 performance. The venue's backstage area also hosts visiting artists, such as rising singer Stella Lefty, who spent time interacting with young fans behind the scenes.
