Evil Genius

Evil Genius is a true-crime drama feature film directed by Courteney Cox. The dark crime thriller brings to the screen the harrowing real-life story of the infamous 2003 collar-bomb heist in Erie, Pennsylvania, in which pizza delivery worker Brian Wells was forced into a bank robbery while wearing an explosive device locked around his neck.

The movie stars Oscar winner Patricia Arquette and features Coco Arquette, the 22-year-old daughter of director Courteney Cox. Stepping into the cast under her mother's direct guidance marks a major milestone in Coco Arquette's burgeoning acting career, while adding a fresh dynamic to set life for the veteran actress turned filmmaker.

Evil Genius made its official debut at the Toronto International Film Festival, where Cox promoted the project as her second feature film as a director. The feature brings intense dramatic weight to one of the most baffling criminal sagas in modern American history, which previously captivated audiences in docuseries form.
