Cynthia Nixon

Cynthia Nixon is an actress widely recognized for portraying Miranda Hobbes across the Sex and the City franchise, including its original television series and subsequent continuations. She has maintained a prominent presence on television throughout her screen acting career.

Nixon reprised her role as Miranda Hobbes in the third season of the spin-off series And Just Like That... Her storylines included sharing a bedroom sequence and kiss with guest actor Rosie O'Donnell, who portrayed a nun named Mary. O'Donnell later publicly discussed the post-coital scene, noting that filming the intimate setup with Nixon was an unexpected and nerve-wracking experience.

In addition to her series work, Nixon has participated in promotional crossovers for major television releases. She reunited with longtime Sex and the City co-star Sarah Jessica Parker to appear in an executive office teaser clip alongside comedian Cole Escola to announce HBO's filmed adaptation of the Broadway play Oh, Mary!
