Cma Awards

The Country Music Association Awards, commonly known as the CMA Awards, is an annual awards broadcast honoring top performers and achievements in country music. Organized by the Country Music Association, the event takes place in Nashville each November and brings together traditional country storytellers and crossover pop icons.

The 60th annual iteration of the ceremony marks significant milestones for country music artists. Country singer Lainey Wilson was selected as the solo host for the 60th anniversary broadcast, becoming the first female artist to solo-host country music's biggest night on two separate occasions. The hosting announcement was revealed live on location during a College GameDay broadcast at Louisiana State University.

Nominations for the broadcast showcase a competitive field across major categories, highlighting both established stars and rising talent. High-profile contenders receiving nods for the 2026 awards include Taylor Swift, Ella Langley, and Cody Johnson, with industry interest centered on key categories such as Entertainer of the Year.
