Brandi Carlile

Brandi Carlile is an acclaimed singer-songwriter and folk-rock recording artist. Recognized for her vocal talents and extensive contributions to roots music, the multi-Grammy winner has established herself as a prominent figure in the music industry and earned induction into the Austin City Limits Hall of Fame.

Throughout her career, Carlile has advocated for LGBTQ+ visibility within music genres that have historically lacked representation. She has reflected on the impact of country legend Dolly Parton, crediting Parton for taking a professional risk by offering unconditional allyship and embracing her as an openly gay artist. The two powerhouses notably performed together at the 2019 Newport Folk Festival after Carlile helped orchestrate Parton's surprise appearance.

Carlile remains a major live attraction, regularly headlining iconic venues and collaborating with fellow music icons. Recent milestone appearances include performing alongside Bonnie Raitt for an Austin City Limits special, joining the lineup for the 25th annual Americana Honors & Awards at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, and hosting a three-night concert residency at Red Rocks Amphitheatre featuring a surprise duet with Alanis Morissette.
