Beck

Beck is an alternative rock innovator, multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and multi-Grammy winner who has built a celebrated discography across several decades. Recognized for his work in the alt-rock and acoustic folk-rock realms, he has released 15 studio albums throughout his career.

Seven years after the release of his album Hyperspace, Beck returned with his 15th studio project, Ride Lonesome. Self-producing the 12-track acoustic record, he reunited with an elite circle of trusted musical collaborators, including powerhouse studio drummer and percussionist Joey Waronker. Beck revealed that he had initially completed the project earlier but shelved and reworked it for two years due to personal self-doubt before feeling ready to release the material.

Ahead of the album's official launch, Beck previewed the effort with the moody single Disappearing Act. As he prepared for an upcoming tour launching at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver, he addressed the availability of his studio lineup, noting that Waronker was unavailable for the live shows due to potential commitments drumming for Oasis.
