Angine de Poitrine

Angine de Poitrine is a masked Canadian math-rock duo originating from Quebec. The group has carved out a unique pocket in the alternative music scene by pairing technical microtonal guitar setups with fast-paced, intricate math-rock rhythms. To maintain their anonymity, the group members perform while wearing disguises to keep their real faces hidden from the public.

The pair first built a substantial digital fanbase by capturing widespread attention across social feeds with their signature sound and eccentric visual aesthetic. Their viral online phenomenon quickly expanded far beyond their Canadian hometown, successfully translating digital hype into real-world box office momentum as they began packing concert halls and music venues across the United States.

Following a meteoric twelve-month rise marked by rapidly expanding online interest, the costumed group achieved a major career milestone by making their United States network television debut. Angine de Poitrine delivered their very first live U.S. broadcast musical performance on NBC's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, surprising music critics and casual viewers while solidifying their status as a breakout alternative act.
