Yami Gautam Dhar Sparks Supernatural Chaos In First Teaser For 'Nayyi Navelli'

Bollywood leading lady Yami Gautam Dhar is gearing up to bring high-energy supernatural mayhem to moviegoers. The first official teaser for her upcoming film *Nayyi Navelli* has finally arrived, delivering an energetic sneak peek at a feature that blends traditional household hilarity with spooky fantasy elements. Co-produced by heavyweights Amazon MGM Studios and Colour Yellow Productions, the project is officially billed as a broad-appeal fantasy family comedy. The introductory footage opens on a cozy domestic scene, showcasing an ordinary family setup where relative peace seems to reign. But in true cinematic fashion, that tranquility does not last long.

The calm atmosphere of the household collapses quickly in the newly released footage. The dramatic tension boils over when an unexpected conflict erupts between the family members, centering directly around the household's newest addition. In the clip's big moment, a suspicious brother-in-law suddenly levels a wild claim at the newly arrived bride. Screaming out "bhabhi daayan hai"—which translates to "sister-in-law is a witch"—he ignites a wave of domestic suspicion and supernatural panic. That shocking line sets up the central premise of the film, pitching a hilarious tug-of-war between everyday family dynamics and magical mischief. Yami Gautam Dhar steps into the middle of the whirlwind, anchoring the comedic fantasy with her star power.

Audiences eager to see how the supernatural household battle plays out won't have to wait very long. *Nayyi Navelli* is officially slated for a nationwide theatrical premiere in India this October, setting it up as a major autumn movie event. The high-profile collaboration between global power Amazon MGM Studios and Indian outfit Colour Yellow Productions highlights the massive studio backing behind the project. With Dhar taking on a spellbinding leading role, the feature promises to be a standout addition to this year's theatrical calendar.
