Sydney Sweeney Straps Herself to Top of Stunt Plane in Terrifying Upside-Down Video

Sydney Sweeney is taking the term "Hollywood daredevil" to breathtaking new heights. The *Euphoria* actress shocked her social media followers on Monday morning after sharing a heart-stopping clip of herself strapped directly to the exterior frame of a flying airplane. In the jaw-dropping video, the star isn't just sitting in the passenger seat enjoying a scenic tour. Instead, Sweeney is fully harnessed to the roof of a biplane as the aircraft soars high above the clouds. Making matters even wilder, the pilot performs a complete barrel roll and flips the plane upside down while Sweeney hangs on in midair.

The dramatic footage captures the actress smiling and giving signals despite the extreme wind and stomach-churning altitude. While many A-list celebrities rely heavily on stunt doubles for high-risk aerial shots, Sweeney appeared to thoroughly enjoy the adrenaline rush as she hovered thousands of feet off the ground without an enclosed cockpit protecting her. Fans and Hollywood peers quickly flooded her social media comments with equal parts awe and absolute terror. Many users joked that Tom Cruise finally met his match in extreme action sequences, given the veteran actor's well-known obsession with hanging off airborne vehicles for major action flicks.

BUZZBEAT

It remains unclear whether Sweeney performed the daring stunt for an upcoming movie role, a high-fashion brand campaign, or simply to check a terrifying item off her personal bucket list. Reports have not yet confirmed the exact project or reason behind the wild flight, leaving followers guessing about what she might be filming next. Regardless of the motive behind the thrill-ride, Sweeney continues to solidify her reputation as one of the most unpredictable and captivating young stars in the industry. Between managing major acting roles, producing projects, and now conquering inverted biplane maneuvers, the star is consistently keeping pop culture on its toes.
