Quentin Tarantino Releasing New Cliff Booth Book Ahead Of Brad Pitt's Netflix Spinoff

Quentin Tarantino is not quite done exploring the sun-drenched world of vintage Hollywood stuntmen. The filmmaker is officially expanding his *Once Upon a Time in Hollywood* universe with a fresh print project focused entirely on fan-favorite character Cliff Booth. The director has never hidden his affection for the tough-as-nails stunt double, and he is now giving fans a deeper dive into the character's wildest exploits. The upcoming book, titled *The Adventures of Cliff Booth*, is scheduled to arrive on bookshelves later this year. According to reports, the literary release is strategically timed to land alongside a brand-new feature film heading straight to Netflix.

Brad Pitt will step back into the boots of the veteran stunt performer who earned him an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. The original 2019 movie won over critics and audiences alike, largely thanks to Pitt’s effortlessly charismatic screen presence alongside co-star Leonardo DiCaprio. Now, Pitt is resurrecting the character for a standalone cinematic project. Rather than calling the shots behind the camera himself, Tarantino has handed directorial duties over to David Fincher. The filmmaker behind *Fight Club* and *The Social Network* is set to steer the new movie for Netflix, marking a massive reunion between Fincher and Pitt.

BUZZBEAT

Tarantino has expressed a growing passion for print storytelling in recent years. He previously published a full-length novelization of *Once Upon a Time in Hollywood* in 2021, which expanded heavily on the backstories of Booth and washed-up actor Rick Dalton. That book quickly became a bestseller, proving that audiences were hungry for deeper lore surrounding his characters. This newest push gives fans a rare double rollout: Tarantino’s written vision hitting bookstores right as Fincher’s feature film streams into living rooms. While exact release dates for both the novel and the streaming feature are expected to be finalized soon, the promise of more Cliff Booth is already stirring up major excitement across the entertainment world.
