London Calling! 'Only Murders in the Building' Season 6 Sets Release Date and Huge UK Location Twist

Pack your bags and polish up your magnifying glasses because your favorite true-crime podcasters are trading Upper West Side drama for big British mystery. Hulu has officially confirmed the return date for *Only Murders in the Building* Season 6, and the series is taking a massive detour across the Atlantic. Prepare yourselves for *Only Murders in London*, as the beloved amateur sleuths head over the pond for a fresh slate of chaos. The upcoming sixth installment drops on Hulu starting December 8. Fans will get weekly drops every Tuesday following the premiere. While the core trio—played by Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez—have spent years dissecting dead bodies within the confines of their historic Manhattan apartment complex, the new season completely shakes up the formula. Ditching the hallways of the Arconia, Charles-Haden Savage, Oliver Putnam, and Mabel Mora are taking their signature banter, quirky coats, and chaotic detective work straight to the United Kingdom.

The relocation marks the boldest pivot yet for the critically acclaimed comedy series. After solving multiple gruesome mysteries inside their own backyard, the new setting forces the trio to navigate unfamiliar turf, international suspects, and a totally fresh set of rules. Hulu has not spilled every detail regarding how the gang lands in England, but the dramatic change of scenery promises to breathe new life into the hit franchise. Details regarding guest stars and specific plot points remain locked away, but the shift to London opens up endless possibilities for high-profile cameos. Over the years, the show has drawn massive names from Meryl Streep and Paul Rudd to Eva Longoria and Eugene Levy. Crossing the Atlantic means the show could pull from an elite pool of British talent to mix things up with our American podcasters.
