Shakira and Burna Boy are proving that their collaborative anthem has serious staying power around the globe. The superstar pairing’s track, "Dai Dai (FIFA World Cup Official Song 2026)," just notched a milestone tenth week at No. 1 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart. Even though the international soccer tournament came to a close more than a month ago, the hit single is still dominating listening platforms everywhere. The track’s reach stretches well beyond territories outside America. "Dai Dai" also locked in a seventh non-consecutive week at the very top of the Billboard Global 200 chart. Chart data from Luminate shows that between August 21 and August 27, the song gathered 36.7 million streams across the globe along with 4,000 digital sales. Outside of the United States, listeners accounted for 31.4 million streams and 3,000 units sold.

Is Shakira Dai Dai still number one on Billboard?

This latest chart success puts the collaboration into elite territory. "Dai Dai" is now officially just the seventh song in music history to secure ten weeks at No. 1 on the Global Excl. U.S. ranking. After initially taking over the top spot in July, the high-octane anthem has continuously held off heavy competition to maintain its title as the most played track in the world. The weekly chart updates also brought major celebrations for several other artists. Latin pop phenomenon Karol G reached the top ten of both the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts with her single "BbY WOW," which features collaborations from Judeline and rusowsky. Meanwhile, newcomer Stella Lefty scored a career high as her single "Boston" bounded directly into the top ten of the Global 200.

Why are Dolly Parton songs back on the Billboard charts?

The global music lists also reflected a massive surge of remembrance for country legend Dolly Parton following her passing on August 25. Devoted fans around the world streamed her legendary catalog in high volume, propelling five of her classic tracks onto the Global 200. Leading the wave was Parton's iconic hit "Jolene," which surged all the way into the chart's top 20. With Shakira and Burna Boy continuing their chart domination and fresh hits making big waves, the global music landscape remains packed with major milestones as the summer season wraps up.
