Alice Cooper and Criss Angel Team Up Again for Las Vegas 'Nightmare' Return

Sin City is getting another dose of theatrical rock and high-stakes magic. Shock rock pioneer Alice Cooper is officially re-teaming with famed illusionist Criss Angel for a fresh batch of Las Vegas performances. The duo announced the return of their collaborative spectacle, titled "Welcome to Our Nightmare," giving fans another chance to experience horror-tinged rock fused with grand stage illusions. The upcoming engagement will take place inside The Criss Angel Theater, located at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on the Strip. This new run follows a successful initial production the pair mounted at the same venue earlier this year during the spring.

The revamped show promises to blend the iconic hard rock catalog of Cooper with the mind-bending stagecraft that Angel has perfected over decades in Vegas. Audiences who caught the spring performances witnessed a seamless mashup of guillotines, fake blood, high-flying stunts, and heavy guitar riffs in an intimate theater setting. Adding even more star power to the stage, fan-favorite guitarist Nita Strauss is confirmed to join the band for these upcoming dates. Her presence on lead guitar has long been a staple of Cooper's touring group, bringing high-energy solos and massive charisma to the legendary frontman's theatrical sets.

BUZZBEAT

Strauss's return to the lineup ensures that the musical heavy lifting matches the scale of the visual spectacle. Known for her lightning-fast fretwork, she remains one of the most prominent guitarists in modern rock. Having her back onstage alongside Cooper and Angel cements this Las Vegas run as a major event for classic rock and heavy metal enthusiasts alike. Cooper has built a career over five decades on macabre stagecraft, famously incorporating snakes, electric chairs, and lethal props into his concerts long before theatrical rock became a mainstream norm. Pairing his dark showmanship with Angel’s illusionist flair offers a natural match for the Las Vegas Strip, where over-the-top entertainment reigns supreme. With ticket details and specific performance nights being rolled out for the new run, fans of both performers can prepare for another wild ride in the desert.
