Kylie Jenner Set to Star in Hulu Mystery Drama 'Bachelorette Weekend'

Kylie Jenner is officially taking her career in a dramatic new direction. The reality television superstar and cosmetics mogul is set to land her first major scripted acting role in the mystery drama *Bachelorette Weekend*, which is currently nearing a formal series order at Hulu. Although the star previously generated online chatter with her brief cameo appearance in Charli XCX's visual project "The Moment," this upcoming thriller represents her official breakthrough into leading a full-length television series. The series, which currently carries the working title *Bachelorette Weekend*, offers a dark and deadly twist on what was supposed to be a joyous pre-wedding celebration. The story follows a bride-to-be, played by Jenner, who ends up murdered in a swimming pool during her weekend getaway. Following her sudden death, her tight-knit circle of closest girlfriends all instantly transform into potential suspects. Industry reports describe Jenner's character as the essential "North Star" of the whole series, serving as the central anchor that holds the complex narrative together even as her character meets a tragic end early in the mystery.

The upcoming project is created by author and screenwriter Lauren Oliver, who adapted the concept from an unpublished novel written by Flora Collins. The narrative structure revolves around unspooling secrets among the group of friends as investigators try to figure out which attendee had a motive to kill the bride. Behind the scenes, Jenner is taking on a major leadership role as well. She will executive produce the thriller series alongside her older sister Kim Kardashian, who has also been building out her portfolio of scripted television roles and high-profile production projects. Joining the famous sisters on the executive production team are creator Lauren Oliver and production house Kapital Entertainment.

While representatives for the streaming platform declined to comment publicly on the project's development status, industry insiders confirm that the mystery series is rapidly advancing toward an official green light. This project marks a significant shift for Jenner, who built her global celebrity footprint through long-running reality programming and her namesake beauty empire. By stepping into both the lead role and an executive producer chair, Jenner follows a path similar to her sister Kardashian, who recently expanded into high-profile drama roles. Further casting details for the group of suspect girlfriends have not yet been announced, but the project is already generating massive interest as one of the most unexpected television developments of the season.
