Indie rock favorites The Wombats are gearing up to celebrate two decades of the record that launched their careers. The band has officially announced a brand-new UK and European anniversary tour centered entirely around their seminal debut release, *A Guide To Love, Loss & Desperation*. The massive celebration starts overseas before heading back to the band's home turf. The international leg kicks off on April 1 with an opening performance in Paris. From there, the group will travel through major European cities including Cologne, Berlin, Munich, Amsterdam, and Antwerp over the course of a week. Following the mainland dates, the group will return to Great Britain for four major shows. That stretch of the tour features headline appearances in Manchester, Glasgow, London, and Liverpool, wrapping up the special run later in the month.

What will The Wombats play on their anniversary tour?

Fans attending the special shows are getting a unique two-part performance. The group plans to split each concert into two distinct sections to give proper tribute to their signature catalog. During the first half of the concert, the Liverpool-formed band will perform *A Guide To Love, Loss & Desperation* straight through from start to finish. Once the debut album is complete, the band will transition into a second set featuring their biggest radio hits and fan favorites pulled from the rest of their discography. Drummer Dan Haggis shared that the milestone tour grew out of a desire to throw a proper celebration for the project that catapulted them from driving around in a family car to playing major venues across the world. Tickets and tour details are set to drop ahead of the spring launch.
